We are looking for an experienced systems engineer for an assignment in advanced defense and security technology. You will be part of a technical team working with complex products where software and hardware interact, focusing on system design, architectural choices, and clear technical documentation.

The role emphasizes system engineering for embedded software (C++) and FPGA (VHDL). Coding is not a requirement but may occur to varying degrees depending on the project.

• Develop and document system design for hardware and software-related systems
• Contribute to system engineering, architectural choices, and technical trade-offs
• Create design descriptions and documentation of technical solutions
• Collaborate closely with development teams across multiple technical disciplines
• If necessary, contribute code in embedded/FPGA-related areas

• Experience as a senior systems engineer in embedded systems
• Knowledge of embedded software design in C++
• Experience with FPGA development in VHDL
• Good hardware understanding
• Excellent ability to document design and technical solutions
• Ability to undergo and be approved in a security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not accepted)

• Experience with coding
• Experience in signal processing
